The Story So Far...
Hello I’m Stephanie the owner of Buddy’s Buddies. Thank you for visiting my page. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.
I am a mum to my beautiful daughter Holly and dog mum to my wonderful cockapoo Buddy. Together Buddy & Holly are my world.
Buddy is the inspiration behind Buddy’s Buddies and one of the many reasons I started this business. However I shall take you back to the beginning.
When I got Buddy I got the same fear entrusting him in the care of a doggy day care or dog Walker as I did handing my daughter over to a nursery or childminder when she was younger.
I knew no one could look after them like I could. With Buddy What if a dog Walker let him off lead and he didn’t return?
Or got attacked by another dog? Would he get the same strokes, cuddles, love and attention?
These were my worries and concerns and what spurred me on to finally fulfil my dream to start my own business.
That dream is now a reality. I now own that business and my promise to be the dog walker that I would want my buddy to be in the care of everyday.
I can reassure you that your dog and pets will be given the same love and attention I give to Buddy.
We share the same passion...
Growing up my home consisted of many pets. That included German shepherds, Jack russells, Yorkshire terriers and Doberman’s, (to list just a few!) Plus Cats, Rabbits, Ferrets, Guinea pigs, hamsters and aviaries of many breeds of birds.
Being an only child my pets provided me great fun, love and companionship. My dream was to work with animals in some capacity when I grew up. However life took me down a different path until now.
You can feel safe with me...
I spent 11 years working for the Metropolitan police service. Then after I've spent the last 6 years working in the insurance industry.
I also have a passion for holistic therapy and I am a level two attuned Reiki healer and practise Crystal Therapy however nothing makes me happier then when I am around animals. That's why you can feel safe and secure in the knowledge that your pet is with a caring loving person.
Oh, and I am DBS checked just in case you ask, I'm also Pet First Aid trained and fully insured.
